tricision Achieves Significant Progress in Intellectual Property
Recently, Beijing tricision Biotech Co.,
Ltd. was recognized as a "Beijing Intellectual Property Pilot
Unit," and tricision Biotech (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. was recognized as
a "Zhuhai Key Intellectual Property Protection Enterprise." Through
sustained efforts and accumulation, tricision has continuously improved and
made significant progress in intellectual property.
On August 31, the Beijing Intellectual
Property Office released the "2022 Beijing Intellectual Property
Pilot Unit List." After rigorous preliminary review, formal
review, and expert evaluation, Beijing tricision Biotech Co., Ltd. was
successfully selected as a Beijing Intellectual Property Pilot Unit.
According to the Measures for the
Identification and Management of Beijing Intellectual Property Pilot and
Demonstration Units, applicants must meet multiple conditions—including
being a high-precision enterprise, having an intellectual property strategy
with relevant plans or strategies, continuously engaging in innovation
activities with increasing R&D investment, holding a certain number of
patent applications, and achieving a patent implementation rate of no less than
40% over the past three years.
Beijing Intellectual Property Pilot Units
are recognized based on the applicant's innovation capabilities and
intellectual property creation, protection, and utilization—representing
recognition of organizations with outstanding intellectual property protection
work. Recognized units are eligible for priority access to various intellectual
property special funding support, including patent funding, patent
commercialization, overseas intellectual property warning and emergency
assistance, and priority recommendation for national intellectual property
projects, awards, and honors.
On July 15, the Zhuhai Intellectual Property Office issued the "Notice on the Announcement of the 2022 Zhuhai Key Intellectual Property Protection Enterprise List," identifying tricision Biotech (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. as a Zhuhai Key Intellectual Property Protection Enterprise.

Under the Work Plan for
Establishing a Fast-Track Intellectual Property Protection System for Key
Enterprises in Zhuhai, applicants must meet criteria including having 30 or
more valid patents, being a national high-tech enterprise, or being a
national/provincial/municipal intellectual property advantage or demonstration
enterprise—and must not have received administrative penalties from
intellectual property authorities in the past three years.

strengthen intellectual property protection, enhance IP risk awareness,
strengthen IP enforcement capabilities, and comprehensively advance IP work to
new levels.
