Thermo Fisher Scientific and tricision Deepen Biopharmaceutical Partnership with Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (Thermo
Fisher) and Beijing tricision Biotech Co.,
Ltd. (tricision) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for global
commercial collaboration, building on their existing strategic partnership.
Under the principles of "mutual benefit and shared
development," the two companies will deepen their
cooperation in biopharmaceutical research, quality control, and manufacturing.
The expanded partnership leverages
tricision's capabilities across its Messenger RNA (mRNA) platform, Nanodelivery
Platform (NP), regulatory filing and registration platform, drug discovery
platform, proprietary patents, and the full-chain customized Contract
Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services offered by
its subsidiary, Yixing Chenggong New Drug Development Co., Ltd.
(Chenggong New Drug). These assets will be combined with Thermo Fisher's
solutions, global market reach, and customer networks in cell and gene therapy
to drive deep, integrated collaboration.
Mr. Liu Dong, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
of tricision, stated: "tricision's commercial team will continue
to work closely with Thermo Fisher, and we are very pleased to pursue global
commercial collaboration." Thermo Fisher, in turn, will
provide maximum support with its global market access, customer
relationships, and product and process technologies to advance
tricision's product development, Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs), clinical
trials, and commercial manufacturing in the cell therapy space.
The signing ceremony took place at
the Thermo Fisher Customer Experience Center in Shanghai. Following
the ceremony, Mr. Liu Dong and the tricision leadership team toured the
Center's laboratories, gaining deeper insight into Thermo Fisher's innovative
technology platforms and products across multiple fields.
This strategic partnership is expected
to significantly accelerate the development of tricision's innovative
cell therapies and help bring new hope to more patients.
