tricision Wins Special Award at "Maker Beijing 2023" Competition
On December 8, the 8th "Maker China" Beijing SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition—also known as "Maker Beijing 2023"—concluded successfully. Beijing tricision Biotech Co., Ltd. (tricision) was awarded the Special Award in the "Xiuzheng · Pharmaceutical and Health Industry Special Competition", and its project was selected for inclusion in the Beijing High-Precision Industry Project Reserve Pool, qualifying it for priority support from central and municipal government funding.
The "Maker China" Beijing SME
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is guided by the Ministry of
Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance, and co-hosted
by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the
Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, and the Fangshan District People's
Government. Over the course of the three-month competition, 5,053
projects were showcased. tricision distinguished itself through
multiple rounds of evaluation with its project "Pan-Solid Tumor
mRNA-Dendritic Cell (mRNA-DC) Precision Therapeutic Vaccine Platform Based on
Shared Antigens," emerging from a highly competitive field of
outstanding projects.
As one of China's earliest
biopharmaceutical companies to achieve breakthroughs in mRNA-based
cancer vaccine development and immunotherapy, tricision has built a complete
industrial chain spanning core technology R&D, product design, raw
material production, and market deployment. The Company holds significant
advantages in technology, production capacity, and clinical application.
tricision's lead candidate—the Survivin-Targeting
DC Cell Injection for primary Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM)—received Clinical
Trial Permission (CTP) from the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) on
January 10, 2023, making it China's first mRNA-DC therapeutic cancer
vaccine to receive clinical trial approval. This recognition at "Maker
Beijing 2023" further validates tricision's pioneering role in the
mRNA-DC field and its potential to reshape the treatment
landscape for solid tumors.
